Our week included a birthday (yeah me!), a chest x-ray (Henry is fine), a puppet show, Kent house errands, IKEA, free museum day, a baby with a snotty nose and cough and a lot of playing. Oh, and one of the chickens can get out of the coop- so that is fun too. Luckily Chris loves time sensitive projects. We are all in a funk- mine caused by external obligations associated with the closing of the Kent house and the boys’ probably just feeding off of my lack of patience and exhaustion. I am looking forward to our camping trip this weekend- I will have high hopes for nice sunny weather where we can play and not have to think about the to-do list. I am having a hard time believing that summer is almost over- we still have things to do! On the plus side though, is that this time next week the Kent house will no longer be ours- bittersweet for sure, but we could use only being responsible for one homestead, 3 kiddos, 4 hens and 1 dog for awhile.
