We spent last weekend in Walla Walla for a special birthday celebration for Bapa. After an uneventful car ride (for at least one car… ahem, the other car liked attracting the men and women in blue apparently…) we settled in for a belated birthday dinner with yellow cake and chocolate frosting for dessert. Although we had the appropriate candles, we did not have a lighter but made the best of it. The next day was spent wine tasting (for some adults) and a visit to the Fort Walla Walla museum and park for the younger crowd. The boys had a great time, some good wine was purchased to be enjoyed later this summer (my husband sure does love me) and we all had a great time. A new quaint town- we learned a lot and explored a region of Washington we had all never been to before. Happy Birthday Bapa! We love you and look forward to spending lots more birthday adventures with you!
Fast forward to the rest of the week- school work, snotty noses and doctor check- ups. Both recent birthday boys are healthy (well, when not snotty) and did not need any shots (so they were very happy).
